Where there's fire, there's smoke

Yesterday the mountains and the flames were visible. Today the smoke has spread out so that you wouldn't even know the mountains are there.

I haven't ventured out yet but the inside of our house is really smoky. No way to plug up all the holes and gaps in a house this old.

I feel really uneasy and strange during all of this.

Xcept 4 de smell, it looks just like a typical bad smog day.

God, you captured that so much better than I. Update on stinkiness factor -- things still smell up here, but not as bad. There's a bit of clearing, so perhaps they'll resume some airdrops. I think I hear something now.
