Makes me nostalgic for the cabin I used to own at Lake Arrowhead. My P.O.Box was in a town called Sky Forest!! I love the combination of trees and ferns. I also love Marin County where I sometimes visit a good friend.
When I googled "Muir Woods" looking for the article Petrea mentioned to me in her comments today, your blog post was on the first page of results so I just had to stop by. I haven't been in a few years but Muir Woods is definitely on my "do soon" list. Great photos.

Muir Woods is located 11 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, in Marin County, near Mill Valley. It's actually part of Mt. Tamalpais.
