Yesterday the mountains and the flames were visible. Today the smoke has spread out so that you wouldn't even know the mountains are there.

La Canada from the Rose Bowl, with hawk.

The mountains behind the Rose Bowl have disappeared.

Morning sun over South Pasadena.

Yeah, that's how it looks.
I haven't ventured out yet but the inside of our house is really smoky. No way to plug up all the holes and gaps in a house this old.
I feel really uneasy and strange during all of this.
Xcept 4 de smell, it looks just like a typical bad smog day.
God, you captured that so much better than I. Update on stinkiness factor -- things still smell up here, but not as bad. There's a bit of clearing, so perhaps they'll resume some airdrops. I think I hear something now.
So sad and weird and everything bad.
