On July 12, the Pasadena City Council will consider whether or not to build soccer fields in Hahamongna Watershed Park. We oppose the building of these soccer fields. Hahmongna is a watershed that should remain in its natural state. Soccer fields can be placed anywhere. A watershed like this cannot be replaced.

Many bloggers all over the San Gabriel Valley agree that Hahamongna must be saved. Here are the links for some of them:

Nicely said. You deserve the succinct award.
WV: politick
Oh, thanks for joining in Earl. I agree with WCGB
Wow. Great photo and well put. Thank you!!
You muse good Mr E
Really well said!
Unbelievable lunacy to even consider that spot for soccer fields, let alone to have already planned it.
Michael: I stole the photo from the Save Hahamongna website. But it is great, isn't it?
Well mused, Mister Earl.
A lot of people used this photo. I was thinking they must have given permission, no? If they send you a "cease and desist," let me know, I've got a million.
If they send me a cease and desist for supporting their cause with their photo, they will have more rocks in their heads than the entire Hahamongna Watershed and every SGV City Council put together.
I'm kidding, but it could be a photo that belongs to a photographer who has an agreement with them but not with you. I'm just sayin'. It may not be up to them.
WV: reble. I'm a reble that way.
I agree! And you've got nice colors in this.
You're right about the cost of certain airports. Mine is like yours, more expensive to fly out of.
Well shared and to the point!
I absolutely agree, and I live all the way across the country. That said, I"ve been there, seen that and I'm thinking those folks are nuts to put soccer fields there. What the hell are they thinking Earl??
