I recognize the location of this photo---I walked right past you! The crowd was pretty thick at this point. The So Pas float was nicely done.

Yes, indeed I did! I forgot to look for you up on the mountain!

This is great, Mister E. Next year, we're definitely going to the parade. My daughter was upset that, after seeing it on TV, we couldn't just go over and see it. ("But we are on that street all the time! I recognize it!")

Great pics!

Kelly: We were on the South side of Colorado between Roosevelt and Sierra Madre.

Laurie: You know if you miss the parade, you can also see the floats at Victory Park for 2 or 3 days after the parade. I prefer to see as many floats as I can before the parade down at the Rose Bowl or the Rose Palace on Raymond.

Dinah and I had a real treat on New Year's Eve around 8:00 pm as we headed east on Huntington to Cafe 322 in Sierra Madre. As we went through San Marino we saw a bunch of police motorcycles followed by about 8-10 floats coming from Fiesta Floats in Duarte, no doubt. The people headed west on Huntington suddenly found themselves in traffic jam and many of us in the eastbound lanes slowed down to look. Dinah thought that this impromptu moment was one of the highlights of her visit.
