The Santa Barbara taqueria that Julia Childs made famous. It's at the corner of Milpas and Alphonse. Exit the 101 at Milpas and head toward the mountains. It's tasty, unique, and funky. Most of the time there's a line, but this day it was not as busy as usual.

JC wuz here? Mon Dieu! Pass the guacamole, s'il vous plait.
Still good?
That second photo is fun! But we all want a review.
They really make my favorite tamales. The masa is light and delicious. They just don't have them every time I swing by--
Didn't know Julia was an aficionado of taco stands!!! And where, pray tell, is this one located??? Discerning tasters want to know!!!
And it's all health food, right? I love the way the cooking experts enthuse about 12 dollops of cream, 18, of sugar, 22 of butter, plop it on a fossil and hum "yum." Well, duh.
Well spill the beans Earl. I"m heading west to find this place.
