One of my favorite local craftsmans

This is at Stratford and Oxley in South Pasadena. It's low and long, and it shows how the dark colors and the large eaves make them very difficult to photograph.

I like that it looks like the palm tree is shooting out of the chimney.

I know. I think they converted their chimney to a planter. Only in So Cal!

One time, I was at Spring Training in Scottsdale and I took a photo of SF Giant's shortstop Chris Speier (who also has a Canadian connection) at Indian School Park, where some of the Giants were practicing. In the photo, it looks like Chris has a light tower coming out of his head.
